Caters too... How lucky I was to enjoy it all at our party when I heard it was going to be Side Street hoping there would be Yakisoba, pork chops and chicken and yasss we had it all and more! Not sure when they got here as I was helping to set the function up but when it did I knew it cause I could smell it all lol!! Ahhhhhh nothing like coming to a catered party where the food is taken care of so all we had to do was grab my plates which we did and what a spread it was all yummy and perfect, thank you for it all as it was all enjoyed by everyone and totally recommend for any function you may have. Thank you!

I'm happy they have curbside pick up! I ordered their pork chops and signature fried rice. Both very tasty! Super convenient to have curb side pick up here! Portions are huge too!

Side Street Inn is a staple for us every time we visit Oahu! Known for its massive portions, it's the kind of place where you'll always leave full and satisfied. Our go-to dishes are the garlic chicken and fried rice. While it might sound simple, these two entrees are more than enough for 2-3 people. The garlic chicken is crispy, coated in a sweet and savory soy-garlic sauce. However, during our last visit, it missed the mark slightly since it was served cold, it felt like it had been sitting out before being sauced. The fried rice usually comes in a heaping pile of rice loaded with bacon, sausage, and spam... So good! On our most recent visit, we decided to try the bone-in galbi, and it did not disappoint! The thick, juicy short ribs were tender and flavorful. For reference, the current market price is $42 for the bone-in version and $48 for boneless. If you're in Oahu and craving hearty, comforting dishes, Side Street Inn is a spot I recommend!

My friend recommended this restaurant and a couple of menu items and we were NOT disappointed. We ordered the signature fried rice and the fried chicken. And wow!! The was a blast of flavor with each bite and somehow kept getting more delicious the more we ate. The fried rice was chewy, sticky, and super flavorful. The fried chicken wasn't a typical crispy fried chicken but the garlic sauce was amazing and the skin was crispy enough. The food took a while to come out - maybe 30-40 minutes by the time I actually checked the time, but the wait was worth it and the waitress was super nice and accommodating. There were also several other large parties enjoying meals. Plenty of seating options

This was a hard review to write as it was a mixed experience. I rounded up to a 4 but 3.5 would be more accurate. This is not my first time here but it has been a few years since my last visit. I went on a Thursday night with a friend visiting from out of town. I did not expect live music on a weeknight and we wanted to catch up/talk so asked to be seated as far away as possible to be able to hear each other as the music was quite loud. Just a warning if you want to talk story with others it may be hard to do. We ordered the standards of the pork chops, signature garlic chicken, and signature fried rice. The pork chops and fried rice came out and we made the mistake of trying to wait for the garlic chicken to come out before eating. We eventually gave in and started eating. The pork chop was good as usual but some pieces were a little dry. I blame the wait before eating caused it to dry out so our mistake. The fried rice was the best thing to me. It had good flavor and everything you want from a fried rice. The price is not cheap but you sure get a large portion and it definitely is worth it. The garlic chicken is also known as spicy chicken but I didn't really taste either. The chicken itself does not have that much flavor so it really needs the sauce which is a slightly tangy teriyaki sauce. I probably would skip this in the future visit unless someone else really wanted it. I wish it lived up to its name and had garlic and/or spicy flavors. I'd rank the garlic and spiciness level as a 1, barely noticeable so keep that in mind if you are worried about garlic or spice. The service was excellent with friendly staff that went the extra mile to check in and did everything possible to make our dinner great. Overall there were good and bad things so really 3.5 stars is an accurate rating.

Haven't been here since i came back home before covid. The inside is completely redone although i must admit i really liked the outdated look from before lol, food is still awesome and for the prices, the plates are well worth it. Glad I made it back! The pulehu short ribs are definitely my favorite!

Side Street Inn is an absolute must every time I land in Honolulu! It's the first stop on my itinerary, and it never disappoints. The *fried pork chops* and *The Works fried rice* are staples for us--crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Portions here are generous, so make sure to come hungry and bring a crowd. Sharing is the way to go, and no matter what you order, you're in for a treat. We've never had a bad dish, and we always leave with leftovers to enjoy later--a bonus! Side Street Inn captures the perfect mix of comfort food and local flair. If you're looking for a hearty meal that will satisfy and leave you planning your next visit, this is the place to be. Can't recommend it enough!

3.5 stars for me. Food overall is pretty good. The fried chicken and fried pork chop I enjoyed and also liked the galbi and the market salad . The steamed fish which was a bit overcooked and also wasn't the biggest fan of the fried rice. The portions here are really large and I would say are 1.5 times a normal order. Felt like a real local place so I enjoyed the atmosphere and the wait staff was quite friendly.

Family style island vibe restaurant that will knock your sandals right off your feet. Love the low key Ohana feel, like a neighborhood place that is a local secret. I felt so welcomed by everyone. Service was amazing. Food on point. Definitely pay attention to the family favs menu they know what they are taking about!!! It is so much food, we had 4 adults and still had a ton of leftovers, but they are still amazing the next day.

A true local place. Excellent local place. All the plates are made for sharing. The pork chops are the best. So is the tofu, fried rice, salads, poke. They have it all. The staff is super super friendly. It's a great hangout for regulars. Excellent place for large groups.
